Description

This lecture focuses on defining the concept of Mediated Learning Experience (MLE) and its relationship to direct learning. Two major reasons for the lack of MLE are outlined – the lack of mediation provided by the child’s environment and the inner barriers preventing the child from accepting mediation. The issue of poverty is discussed as one of the possible conditions leading in some sub-cultures to the reduced amount of MLE.
